In the second advent, Orchestra “Rīga” invites to a concert at Riga St. John’s Church. The upcoming collaboration with the girls’ choir “Tiara” of Riga Cathedral will be special. The long-awaited premiere of Līga Celma-Kursiete’s new work Te Deum will be performed together. Soloist Gundars Dziļums (baritone) will also take part in its performance. The program will also include the music of Johann Sebastian Bach, Gabriel Fauré, Eric Whitacre, Leonard Bernstein and others.
Entrance to the concert with FREE INVITATIONS, which from December 3 at 9.00 am will be available at “Biļešu paradīze” ticket offices and on the Internet at www.bilesuparadize.lv
The creation of the new work was supported by the State Cultural Capital Fund.
